Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at my home. My cat ' Boo' usually hangs out in this space in our wall. The ivy covering the wall made a perfect frame.

Time

This was shot around 8am in the morning. The sun was up but there was enough cloud cover to give a soft light.

Lighting

The light was lovely that day. Only source of light is the sun.

Equipment

I used a Nikon D7100 with a 50mm f1.8 lens

Inspiration

I love taking pictures of animals, especially cats and my pet cat is a natural poser.

Editing

I usually post process using lightroom. This photo has been slightly cropped and some saturation has been adjusted.

In my camera bag

I usually carry around a Nikon D7100, 18-140mm lens and either a 35mm or 50mm

Feedback

The most important thing is to have patience. This was not the only photo taken that day. Animals especially cats move a lot when they're photogrpahed so you have to wait it out till they're comfortable.
