This Photo was taken on my way home from Work. I took a Sydney Ferry so that I got get more unique shots. This Ship just happened to be at port at the time. Seemed like a great opportunity.Time
I was heading home from work around 6pm and decided to to take an alternative route. So took the evening Ferry home, the night was clear and the it was a warm evening considering it was still winter. Looked like the perfect opportunity to get some new photos.Lighting
I wanted to take the photo and use what ever natural light was available. The ship and surrounding buildings were lit up so nicely that i did't need to use a long exposure especially on a moving ferry.Equipment
I used a Canon 100D 1600 iso F 5.6 1/60 Shutter SpeedInspiration
I was in the moment.Editing
I did some minor Lightroom touchups. Adjusted exposure and Clarity. In my camera bag
I usually always carry around my Canon 100D with 2 lenses, I use on 40mm Macro lens and 75-300mm lens. I also have on me a shutter remote and timer for long exposure shots and a mini tripod. I carry these items everywhere, keep it light simple.Feedback
Be patient when looking for that moment. When going anyway never take the same path. You will be surprised as to what you see or come across the when your take that fork in the road. Always Make use of the light you have and surroundings. Take your camera everywhere because you never know what you will see.
