Location
I took this photo in Vienna: it is the "Gloriette" of Park SchonbrunnTime
It was half morning of 1st January 2013Lighting
It was completely natural light. The sky was cloudy, but the perfect reflection of the Gloriette in the water was very fascinating to me.Equipment
My first digital compact camera.Inspiration
Just walking and finding the beauty in what you see.Editing
Yes, but not very much, as that camera only used to shoot in JPEG. I converted the tones in B/W and added an high contrast filter in Lightroom. Saturation for the green channel was also augmented a bit if I remember well.In my camera bag
Now I have my Fujifilm X-E2S mirrorless with the 18-55 f/2.8-4.0, a small and friendly camera with a far more decent kit lens than the Canon's and Nikon's. I usually have also my analog reflex, a Pentacon Praktica MTL3 with these lenses: Vivitar 28mm f/2.8 (which I use a bit rarely), Pentacon MC 50mm f/1.8, Reuvenon 135mm f/2.8 and a focal x2 multiplier, and my analog flash Metz 36CT2, which I use also on the digital mirrorless, as it can support its trigger voltage.Feedback
Don't be lazy! Even if it's very cold or if you're tempted to stay in bed as the night before you have slept 4 hours, when you know that the beauty is surrounding you, go and catch it, no matter what camera you have: the best camera you can desire is the one you've got with you.
