This was taken in my neighborhood in Hunters Creek in Orlando Florida. These little ones were sunning themselves next to a retention pond and I saw them when I drove by.Time
This was taken mid morning and it was already starting to get hot. These ducklings were enjoying the morning sun.Lighting
It was a sunny Florida morning.Equipment
This was taken with my Nikon D5 and Nikkor 200-500 f5.6 lens. Hand heldInspiration
I saw these babies next to a retention pond when I drove by. They were too cute not to stop and take a few pictures.Editing
Just cropped and slightly sharpened. In my camera bag
Depends on where I am going, I usually go on hikes with my Nikon D5 and 200-500mm f5.6 to shoot wildlife and also take my D810 with either my 14-24 F2.8 or 24-70mm f2.8 to use for landscapes. Sometimes I take one of my infrared conversion cameras if I am up to carrying 3 cameras. Out in the back yard I use my D810 with one of the holy trinity f2.8 lens to capture Blaze and Aero running or the sunrises. In the pool I use my waterproof Nikon 1 AW1Feedback
You have to get out there and look for your next shot, especially for wildlife. It seldom comes to you. Don't just walk by the beauty that is there. Take a long hard look and you will be surprised what you will find.
