This is Whitaker Point. Every turn has many vistas. This is within the Ozark National Forrest in northern Arkansas USA. I don't recommend August like I did as the weather-heat-humidly is brutal. Fall colors will be grand. This is a 2.7 mile trail to the point. Whitaker Point is a local landmark for many couples to propose marriage, celebrate and tragic endings for many who get to close to the edge. The slant at the end is a 15 degree vertigo nightmare and some hikers get too close and fall 200 feet to the rocks below. There is a couple sitting on the bevel playing on their phone.....not meeee!
