When I travel to Arizona I have seen these guys. They are big bugs. Great capture.

Thanks so much for those who have visited - great how UGLY BUGS get our attention - they give us a bit of a shiver and yet we still look - just don't want them near or touch them. I have some pics in another folder of one of these big guys where I had to use a ladder, a bucket and a 2x4 on top to balance my camera on - and husband holding the ladder and my leg - and after taking pics in the scorching heat, the Cicada decided to leave, flew right at me, got a bit of it's wing in my eye and I nearly bolted into 'space' I was so scared of it landing on me - I've done less to break a shoulder - so thankful I didn't get 'broken' that day!
