Thanks Jayne. Really sorry about not seeing this for over 2 years. The problem with Viewbug is that it sends too many messages to get business and the important messages get lost. Cheers!

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this in my backyard.

Time

Afternoon.

Lighting

Natural light.

Equipment

Canon 5DMarkIII. Lens: 300mmx1.5 tube.

Inspiration

I love these visitors to our yard. I purposely plants many plants so they have food source all year round.

Editing

PS adjusting sharpness, color saturation, noise, exposure, etc.

In my camera bag

16-35mm, 100mm, 24-105mm, 75-300mm. 14mm. Lots of filters, tripod, several batteries, lens cleaning cloth, a food bar, tissues, tp, water bottle, rain gear to cover lens, and extra chip for camera.

Feedback

Be patient. Stay at a spot for a few hours. The only way to I know how to photograph birds is to be in their environment for a long time so they get used to you.
