Took my friends dogs a walk with my dogs and found long grass.... So happy

Just jumped in and realised feet did not touch the bottom, quick escape!!

Location

I took this photo whilst in the Mayenne county in France. We were walking with the dogs along the bank of the River Loire. It was beautiful and there were so many beautiful dragonflies skitting from leaf to leaf/branch above the river. I was trying to catch the dragonfly in flight and this was the snap before it flew away - I missed the 'in flight' picture !!!!

Time

It was mid afternoon on a glorious afternoon, we paddled in the Loire, as well as walking along the river bank. We were mesmerised b the wildlife all around us.

Lighting

I don't think so - I think advice would be good!!!

Equipment

It was a small Canon sureshot !!!

Inspiration

I love dragonflies, they are so delicate, stunningly electric in colour and I was surprised that such a small insect had a shadow! I love taking photos but in truth I was just lucky with with this one!

Editing
