Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo when I was staying with my grandparents in summer. The actually photo was taken in Brandon and the place is called Abbey Gardens.

Time

The time of the day was midday.

Lighting

I thought the lighting was perfect for the photo because as I said before it was midday and sunny in Britain which can sometimes be a rare sight.

Equipment

The equipment I used was actually my phone since I forgot to bring my bridge camera out with me, but it was too good to miss.

Inspiration

What inspired me to take this photo was the fact that it was beautiful scenery and the buildings were very old, but the flowers were freshly grown and also looked stunning with the buildings.

Editing

I don't reacall doing any post processing.

In my camera bag

The equipment that I normally have in my bag is my camera, lens cap, some spare batteries so I can always capture the perfect moment.

Feedback

The things I would suggest is trying to look for the perfect angle. I believe that the angle in a photo is key and really makes the perfect photo. Also when I take a picture I like to look at the scenery and see if my eyes follow all the way up with something to look at. For example in the photo above you start with the green of the grass and slowly work up to the colourful flowers, next the perfectly shaped bushes and then finally the sharp looking building which has been standing there for centuries. That's what I think taking the perfect photo is about and that is what I would suggest to someone taking the same photo.
