This photo was taken on the farm I live in Manitoba, CanadaTime
About 2 o'clock in the afternoon. After it had rained all morning.Lighting
I'll be honest...I'm not an experienced photographer and have only learned a few basic tips from a local professional photographer and friend. So I really didn't consider lighting on this one...its just a random shot.Equipment
Canon EOS Rebel T5. 18-55 mmInspiration
I was walking home from work, it was overcast and still drizzling and as always loving photography as much as I do my eyes don't miss a thing along the way, always roaming and evaluating and searching for things that would look good on camera. I stopped in my tracks when I came across this beautiful purple shrub covered in raindrops and I was thinking "nows the time to get a really good shot!" So as I was hovering over it, this way and that way, zooming in and out, and contemplating. Well this is what turned out and continues to be one of my favourite photos I've taken.Editing
All I did was enhance the color a bit.In my camera bag
18-55 mm lens. 70-300 mm lens. 50 mm f/1.8 STM. And my Speedlite 430EX ll Flash is what I normally carry about with me.Feedback
I would definitely think that had it not rained this photo would not be half as attractive and fresh looking as it does. The raindrops are a special touch for sure.
