I have a real love of bugs and flowers so whenever I get the chance to take a photo of them together I jump at the chanceEditing
I cropped the photo slightly to move it into an angle I preferred and lightened the image a tad but overall not much was done to this picture. In my camera bag
The first thing I pack is always my macro lens. I normall make sure I have a couple of macro attachments as well incase I want to get closer. I also try and make sure I have my 430 flash incase I need to brighten shots up a touch.Feedback
The best way I have found to improve my macro photography is to use your garden to practise. I took thousands of pictures in my garden with different settings until I found a style I liked. I know use 800 as my Iso level and 11 as my f number and work from there but I find these a great starting point.
