This photo was taken in Istria region, during my travels through Croatia.Time
I remember it was the second half of the day, early evening. My friends and I were strolling around when we stumble upon this alleyway. It looked so authentic and local so I had to take a photo of it.Lighting
I wanted this image to look as natural as possible. The evening light was perfect for this kind of shot - not too shiny and yet not too dark. Lightning helped to create a natural feel for this composition.Equipment
I travel a lot, so I carry my Samsung ST88 everywhere I go. This was not an exception. No other equipment was used.Inspiration
During my travels, I like to take photos that best represent not only the beauty of the place but also the feel of it. Once I accidentally saw this place I thought to myself "This looks so uniquely local and beautiful, it shows more about the place then all those touristy streets." Once I saw it, I knew I had to snap the photo.Editing

My Samsung ST88 became my best travel companion for quite a while know. When you traveling the last thing you want to do is overpack - so a small and efficient camera was the solution for me. It easily fits not only in my bag but also in my pocket - so it's great to take pictures anytime, anywhere. This little buddy of mine will also go to my next adventures.Feedback
Croatia is a very beautiful place, but to find a really authentic look, to find the feel of the country, you have look beyond usual places. Just follow your instincts and take the shot!
