Color conversion, in Photoshop, with a brightnes, contrast adjustment. I try to do as much in camera. That saves work, later on.In my camera bag
Since this image was taken. My equipment has changed. I now have two Canon 7D Mk11. bodies. On one body. I have a Canon 100-400 MM L series. This is strictly dedicated to nature. It is never changed, except to add, a 1.4 Converter. I also have for my othe body. 24-105 Canon Lseries.Canon 2.8 100 Marcro Lens. Canon M50 mirrolesss, with 15-45 lens, and 18-135 Lens. I use this for as a point , and shoot, and for video. It does a fantastic job with videos.Flashes. Quantum Trios, and Canon Speed light, when I travel. Great for portability.. I use Cokin filters, for landscape. Graduated, ND,and various color filters.. Remote trigger, for slow shutter speeds.Feedback
Engage, your subject, dont just point a camera, in their direction. Look for the direction of light, the quality, of light, and the intensity, of light.. Watch your background, nothing distracting, should be seen. For a shot like this, your focal lenght, should be at least 80-85 MM
