Location
This was taken in the Brecon Beacons in South Wales, not too far from the Storey Arms path to Corn Du. I always love seeing the feral horses in the Beacons.Time
This was around 11am.Lighting
It was a bright and cloudy day, a lot of glare.Equipment
I was out running so I used my little bombproof Nikon cool pix.Inspiration
These two looked like Mother and daughter to me, I liked the white colouring on their noses and the way they faced the frame. The clouds were reflected on the water which I also liked.Editing
The sky was a little blown out so I had to reduce the highlights a little. I also lifted the saturation by around 20% to bring the richness of the colour back.In my camera bag
I now normally use a Nikon D810 with a 50mm or 20mm prime, or my compact as in this photo if I'm travelling light.Feedback
I'm relatively new to photography and learning continually, but it's all about the composition for me and taking images of the things that make you tick. I like to take my camera to places that need more effort to get to, and you get to keep some great memories.
