During the rock and gem show here every year, my partner and I get permission to park near the back driveway of a local accountant. His house is lovely and old, despite the fact that he has to put bars on his windows because of the crime rate in his neighborhood. I saw beauty in the design of these bars so I photographed one of his windows. He was so pleased with my photo that he made a copy of it and turned it into a card. I am blessed by all my photographic opportunities and especially when I can see that what I photograph makes the light shine in another person's eyes.
