Near Lake Powell, UT in July of 2018, a semi-truck houseboat hauler was on his way to deliver this houseboat to Bullfrog Marina.
He did not check his trailer thoroughly to make sure the wooden support beams along the trailer frame were in good enough condition to haul this large houseboat down to the marina.
It broke down halfway there. The wooden support beams along the right side of the trailer broke in half, causing the houseboat to tilt precariously to one side. Auto traffic was diverted through a parking lot. Truck traffic was backed up for 6 hours while they called in a crane to pick up the houseboat and allow another truck and trailer to back under the houseboat.
In the background, you can see law enforcement writing a ticket to the driver of the truck.
I managed to take this photo before a law enforcement officer told me to leave the area.
