This shot was taken while on a ship in Glacier Bay, Alaska. The layers of mountainside, along with the water, create an interesting distance between the glacier and point of shot. There is not a lot of vivid color, but there was not much color the day I witnessed it either. The lack of color, to me, helps create the serenity and peacefulness that comes along with this photo. The layers and distance helped serve as a reminder of this magnificent earth God gave us and all of the amazing landforms still left to explore.
