Location
I took this shot on a short trip to Bremen-Germany,near the "Wezer" river to shoot a few models that day.Time
It must be somewhere in the afternoon i guess.Lighting
Only used the dull light the weather gods gave me that day.Equipment
I used a Canon 6D with the Canon 85mm F1.2 lens.Inspiration
We where walking across the city when we saw this beautiful grafitti. And i knew her pink body just would fit in! I also like the urban atmosphere in this shot.Editing
yes,i did the most in camera raw (colors,contrast,...) and only did a little bit of dodge and burn in photoshop. In my camera bag
At this time i switcht to a Fujifilm XT2 camera (i just love it!) and i only use vintage lenses with that body. The lenses i used most are: Chinon 55mm F1.7,Jupiter-9 85mm F2 Chinon 35mm F2.8 and a Tamron 24mm F2.5.Feedback
First of al start with the intention to enjoy the day instead of focussing on the results. Walk around with your model instead of staying at the same spot for the entire shoot. It gives you and the model the time to get comfortable around eachother and to really use your environment. Last but not least: Step out of your comfort zone! Like in life the best things happens there, it's not different for photography.
