Decided to beat the heat and head up to the Uinta Mountains east of Salt Lake City, thankfully the clouds cleared out so I could get some shots of the Milky Way. This is Moosehorn Lake, first time I've shot at this lake, it was nice and quiet since the campground there was closed for some reason. This is the second shot put together from my trip, this time from the end of the lake looking towards the Milky Way. 16 shots total, 9 for the sky and 7 for the land (no reflection shots because the breeze picked up and made the water choppy). Each shot is a 3.5 minute exposure at ISO 400 (sky) or 800 (land) and f2.

This was a tough one to color balance properly because the airglow was so intense.
