Behind The Lens

Location
The photo was taken at my friend's studio in Chisinau. He was very kind and offered his place for this photoshoot, as I have no my own studio.
Time
It was nearly 1 pm, when I met other members of my team, the model was already prepared for photoshoot so we started it immediately. It took me some time for creating necessary light scheme and then we begat our work.
Lighting
There were 2 illuminants, so you can see colored glares on model. The main light source "draws" beautiful volume on her face, so her features distinguish and soften at the same time.
Equipment
This photo was shot on a NIKON D300S with an 18.0-200.0 mm f/3.5-5.6 lens.
Inspiration
I just wanted to try my hand in portrait photography, so the best way to do this (for me, of course) was to take beauty photos. I made an ad, where I described my Idea and then assemble a team for this shooting.
Editing
I cooperated with an amazing retoucher, Denis Meleshin. With his help this photo looks live and "breathing". Of course, this photo was edited with help of professional programs, as Photoshop.
In my camera bag
Now I use my new camera, Nikon D700, in my bag I have 2 lenses: Nikkor 50mm and Nikkor 18.0-200.0 mm f/3.5-5.6. Also a reflector and flash :) That's all.
Feedback
First of all find a good team to create appropriate idea. Try to be patient, because every person has his own representation of final result, listen your colleagues and create photo, that all of you would like a lot. Use the light, it's your best friend. Don't be afraid to experiment. Help your model to find appropriate pose. Then you'll manage it!
