Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my front yard. These bushes have been here for over 12 years. Every year they bloom. I just love the beautiful colors and the details of the flowers that bloom on this bush.

Time

It was about 3pm on a warm July day

Lighting

The day was perfect. No too bright. Just a normal warm day in July around 2pm-3pm. But I took this photo while it was facing towards my porch. I was standing on my porch leaving over the porch rails when taking the photo, so it was not in direct sunlight.

Equipment

I just used an iPhone SE regular settings. No flash. No extra lens and no tripod.

Inspiration

I take photos of these flowers every year around the same time. I just love the details on the petals and the details of the pollen and I also was just testing out my new phone camera.

Editing

I didn't do anything. I just simply opened up my camera app on my iPhone SE, leaned over the porch rails got up close and waited for the focus and snapped the picture !

In my camera bag

I didn't have anything but and iPhone SE on hand

Feedback

Take a photo of a flower up close in the shade. Direct sunlight will take away the details. It will just white it out. So it's best to take the photo up close in shade.
