Behind The Lens

Location

She is Remi, my in-laws little puppy. She lives in Fulton, Central New York.

Time

This was Remi's first time in the backyard exploring the world

Lighting

It was a beautiful day, the sun was my only light, but i took her pictures in the shadows.

Equipment

I used a Nikon D7100 with a 70-300mm tele lens

Inspiration

She is so adorable, it was a MUST. Her blue eyes are gorgeous, that was the most inspiring.

Editing

I did some retouching, making the photo B/W and highlight her blue eyes.

In my camera bag

I usually use my camera with an 18-105mm and a 70-300mm, plus tripod. Also if needed I use external flash.

Feedback

When you are taking pictures of animals, be patient, take as many photos as you can, because they are moving a lot (especially puppies). Use fast shutter, so you can catch the best moments ;)
