Behind The Lens

Location

This is batlag falls where the water of Daranak Falls originated these falls are located in Tanay Rizal in the Island of Luzon in bearings of 14 degrees, 30 minutes North Latitude and 121 degrees, 17 minutes East Longitude 57 km of Manila.

Time

The photo was taken at exactly 11:57 in the morning.

Lighting

There's no secret in my lighting, just follow 101 and you won't go astray. Any photographer, amateur of pro can see the image, the light come from the top as the day time signature: high noon.

Equipment

My equipment are Nikon D7100 and the lens is Nikon DX VR 18-140. The tripod used is cheap but sturdy. The brand and model are as follows: Cosmo TT-27. The flash is built in but since it is high noon, no flash is required.

Inspiration

Whenever I go, if it is convenient, I always carry my camera with me to capture the inspirational moment. In my case, what drives me to shoot pictures is only to document where I've been and show the emotion anyone can feel upon seeing the image captured. Just telling story in understatement by showing how it looks.

Editing

There's no post processing applied to this image. This is what is as exactly as it was taken.

In my camera bag

I'm just an amateur photographer, I don't have much, just the camera and the only lens attached to it.

Feedback

Not much I can share about taking photos because I'm an amateur but if you travel and you have a good camera, just follow your instinct shoot with your heart in taking the views. Take as many shots as you can then select the best image to post or submit.
