Lone tree

behind the lens badge

There was a tree of decent size in the middle of this field. It had bushes around it but always stood out so much.

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo from the side of a road.

Time

This image was my first entry into an art show. I took it early one morning.

Lighting

I wanted the image to portray darkness, loneliness, and beauty.

Equipment

I used a Nikon camera.

Inspiration

I passed by this tree everyday and was drawn to it. Eventually, I realized I needed to stop and capture it's beauty.

Editing

I increased the contrast and darkened the image post process.

In my camera bag

My camera is packed up and ready to go. I keep my Cannon DS126621, 18-55mm lense, 75-300mm lense, high definition AF wide angle 58mm lense, extra battery, and sd card in my bag.

Feedback

Stop and look at locations early in the morning. Also, foggy mornings can make for a great shot as well.
