I used the wonderful natural light of a sunset with on camera flash used to fill the foreground.Equipment

I processed the image using Adobe Lightroom for exposure balance, Photoshop to clean the image and Nik tools for contrast and noise reduction.In my camera bag
Shooting sunsets my primary body is a Nikon D610 and a wide angle lens. Full frame and wide angle together are a must. Aviation photography is my main interest so the first thing in the bag is a long lens, Tamron 150-600mm at the moment. Nikon D500 body mated to this for airborne shots.Feedback
Watch the light and be prepared for it to change, it changes rapidly at this time of day. Watch for composition changes as the sun drops and don't get tunnel vision looking in front of you, the shot behind you can be lit up with a stunning golden glow. Have all the equipment you think you may need ready to go, it's not long before the sun disappears below the horizon.
