A winter rainbow appeared on early Sunday morning above the park at the back of our place. very bright and nearly a double rainbow. This is facing south towards Taupo, the rainclouds were overhead towards the north-west just out of shot. The cold wind was blowing the misty rain over the park - so creating a bright rainbow- 5 minutes later it was dark, cloudy and raining.
