I now live here, in Ramsgate, and walk to the shops almost daily, past the flats, the home units which, many years ago I once saw from a car, when visiting the local primary school, on behalf of the then Multicultural Education Centre, in the Department of Special Programs, Department of Education. (A very long title for a very 'small' 'job'.) I cannot get over the 'Back-to-the-future'-feelings that these walks give me. That brief period in my teaching career, out of the classroom seemed so unreal at the time and now it's come back to 'haunt' me!!!
