Behind The Lens

Location

I am an amateur photographer at best and took the photo in my living room. The young lady is my daughter and we were just playing about with what was then a new camera.

Time

I love this picture of my daughter, she had moved out at this point and had popped by to pick something up, it was fairly late on a typical gloomy Scottish winters day.

Lighting

I took this so long ago I can't remember much other than it was a gloomy winters day.

Equipment

Nothing fancy just my trusty Sony a200 with a standard 18mm-55mm lens.

Inspiration

Personally, I think my daughter is very photogenic and luckily for me, she is a willing participant when I point my camera in her face. It was literally just one of those spur of the moment opportunities.

Editing

No I had set my camera to b&w mode and I was rather surprised at how well the picture turned out. To me it was fine just the way it was. One of those lucky shots.

In my camera bag

I have my trusty and sturdy Sony a200, it is old as Moses but never lets me down. I have been saying for years that I want a new camera but as full-time student, it is pretty low on my list of priorities.

Feedback

I have nothing to add as it was just one of those lucky shots.
