Taken with Nikon D5100 using AF-S Nikkor 70-300 mm 1:4.5-5.6 G lens. Enhanced and cropped using Photoshop Elements 14. This shot was taken in July and I usually only see these birds in Spring and Fall as they migrate through this area. It was also a bit odd to catch it on a branch. I usually see them on the ground scratching in the dead leaves for insects, and worms. The Eastern Towhee and the Spotted Towhee used to be know as Rufous-sided Towhee.
