I shot this handheld with my Nikon D60, probably with my 28-80mm Sigma lens.Inspiration
I knew my photo library was light on "spring" so I took a walk with the intention of capturing the winter/spring transition. Plus, I'd just gotten a Photomatix Pro license and needed some exposure stacks to play around with.Editing
This is a 3-exposure HDR (one of my first for-HDR sequences, actually). In my camera bag
If I'm planning to do a lot of shooting, my Nikon, my 28-80mm Sigma, one of my 70-210mm, a flash, and maybe my tripod. I also carry a Sony Cybershot DSC-WX50, even when I'm not carrying my camera bag.Feedback
Pick a corner of the frame when you're composing your image and pay attention to exactly what's there, so you have a "register" to come back to the same framing again after you've changed settings. (Obviously, my cameras don't have "exposure bracket" settings.) HDR software can adjust somewhat for slight differences of position when you're shooting handheld, but if your exposures are too different, you can't stack them.
