This image would of been shot around lunchtime to early afternoon during summer.Lighting
Natural daylight was used with a fill flash and if i remember right a circular reflector.Equipment

My inspiration for taking this image as many other raptor images i have taken is purely my love of wildlife and what i saw around dorset. wild buzzards always intrigued me and kestrels at the side of the roads.Editing
a little sharpening to compensate or the jpeg compression is all the post processing work done to this image.In my camera bag
i now carry a canon 5d full frame and a 24-105L f4 lens. spare batteries and various filters.Feedback
My advice to anybody wishing to try their hand at this type of photography is: Study your birds, study their nature. be quiet and patient. THE shot will not come right away. Goto a local raptor centre and practice,practice,practice!
