Welcome. Beautiful. I haven't been to Tahoe in 10 yrs. I need to go back.

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at Lake Tahoe - specifically Sand Harbor. I always carry my phone with me and whenever I see something I like, I snap a picture.

Time

It was in the afternoon, around 3. The gradient of the color of the water just amazed me, and I had to get the shot.

Lighting

The sun was to my side when I was taking the shot. I must admit, it really helped make the scene more beautiful and make the colors more vibrant.

Equipment

I just used my iPhone 5's built-in camera. It was an "in the moment" kind of shot, so I couldn't really make any adjustments to my equipment either.

Inspiration

I'm in love with taking landscape shots. I enjoy going to new places and seeing the new scenery, along with taking a photo of them.

Editing

I didn't use any post-processing at all. I thought this photo was beautiful all on its own.

In my camera bag

I normally just have my phone, some small lenses, a charger, and a selfie stick attached to a small tripod.

Feedback

Landscapes are always changing. What happens at one moment will not happen for another. A tip for others is to live in the moment. Always have your eye to the scene; never stop looking for the perfect scene.
