The picture was made during a very nice outdoor shooting. It was really challenging experience for me as I do not know much about horses and have due to their size and nervousness a lot of respect for them. The biggest challenge was to have a picture of the horse not eating grass as the field was untouched and so tempting for her.
We only used available light - here a backlight situation which was supported by a California Sunbouncer in front of the model to brighten the face.
In the post processing I just emphazised the backlight a bit and did some color adjustments and grading.
