Behind The Lens

Location

This picture was taken in Miami during an electrical storm this summer.

Time

This was at night, I was shooting several lightning strikes between 10 and 11 pm.

Lighting

I wanted to have the image I captured. The cityscape, the reflection of the lights on the water and that magnificent background.

Equipment

I was shooting with a Nikon D800, 24-70mm lens and tripod.

Inspiration

During the last months I became more fan of storms. Since then I've been always tracking the storms and getting ready to capture those amazing moments.

Editing

Just a little light correction and vertical distortion in Lightroom.

In my camera bag

It depends what I'm shooting, but usually a Nikon D800, 24-70mm lens, 70-200mm lens, tripod, batteries, nd filters, flashes.
