This jewel beetle feeding on Ixora leaves and flowers is about 10 mm in length. This photograph was taken with my Sony a-57 camera fitted with a SMC Pentax - M 1:1.7 50 mm lens by means of an adapter. There was no communication between the lens and the camera. A 5.6 stop was used
