Behind The Lens

Location

This is one of the pretties in my garden. These lilies are so fragrant, you smell them blooming!

Time

Just wandering around the garden in the early morning, I could smell them before I noticed the buds had opened to this beautiful sight.

Lighting

If I call, it was a bit overcast which is my favorite light to shoot under. More detail and no shadows...

Equipment

Canon Rebel T5i with Canon EF 100 mm F2.8 macro ISO 800 F10 1/200 sec

Inspiration

I love my flowers and try to get brightly colored pretties so I can take photos of them. I have lots of perrinals and plant seeds to get other annual flowers.

Editing

I do as little as possible to a shot other than I do crop. I have no idea how to edit that well.

In my camera bag

Canon T5i, Canon EF 70-200 F 4, and a wide angle of some sort.

Feedback

Wait for the overcast day. That filtered light really makes bright flowers pop. Look for an unusual angle to capture the flower from an interesting angle.
