Auschwitz, I hope to never visit another place with such horrendous history again. It's difficult to imagine the atrocities done to the unfortunates that once entered this place as prisoners, most of which were condemned to tortures, experiments and harsh work often leading to death. Astonishing to find out that even a brothel was running at this concentration camp, where woman who were generally sent directly to gas chambers as they had little "use" to work saw an opportunity to "live" and were given false hopes when allocated to this Block 24. "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it", said George Santayana. Have we all already forgotten?!
