The light was pretty dim so quality, not the best.
Most of the Lyrebirds in this forest are banded. For over 50 years the program has reduced the numbers of foxes and cats , reduced invasive weeds resulting in the numbers of Lyrebirds steadily increasing.

Hi, this is the only colour Lyrebirds come in! There are two species and only live in Australia and are both similar colour. Let me know if you know of a similar bird as I would be interested.

Nice shot, you are very lucky to capture these birds in the wild. I have one shot of one bathing but it was captured at Taronga Zoo.

I live with in 15 mins of an are with lots of lyrebirds. Every sighting is a thrill.
