For untold centuries royalty has sought after and embellished themselves with the color purple. From robes to purple gemstones like Amethyst. What is it about this mystical color?

Some say that it is the color of good judgement while others simply say it is magical. I personally find the color a cross between energizing and relaxing. Maybe that is a bit magical.

This is native to my home state, Florida. When I look at this photo I have so much peace and happiness.

I was so amused by all the plant life on this wild alligator that I bravely capture this photo with 5 feet from it where it was basking in the sun.
