These Holstein dairy cows are being fed in pen number five. A truck drives through the feed yard and pumps a mixture of grains next to a bunker. The fence on top of the bunker is called a "head lock". It is kind of a misnomer because the cow can easily back out. It probably has something to do with allowing the head through, but blocking the animal’s body.
