Behind The Lens

Location

I took this picture in the living room of T-life hostel in Taichung (Taiwan).

Time

During the evening (but before the dinner ;)).

Lighting

It was just the artificial light of the hostel...

Equipment

Camera: Panasonic DMC-GX7 Lens: Panasonic 20mm f1/7

Inspiration

His passion for cooking and his happiness shone everywhere. So I needed to catch this moment.

Editing

Yes. I turn the picture in black and white with Silver Efex Pro 2. Then I mainly increase the luminosity and black, and decrease the contrast with photoshop CS6 (if I remember correctly).

In my camera bag

I travel around Asia just with my Panasonic GX7 and my 20mm lens. I prefer to travel lightly and because of that I have a lot constraint (less equipment) thereby you need to be creative.

Feedback

Be patient and try to catch the second when he forget the camera. For that you need to have a relax and joyful atmosphere, and if it's not the case, you have to create it! ;)
