The McLellan House (1801) is the product of a post-Revolutionary building boom, fueled by the revival of an energetic maritime economy, that transformed Maine’s coastal towns and cities.Located at the Portland Museum of Art (PMA) in Portland, Maine, located on the corner of High Street and Congress Square. This dramatic Flying staircase is famous to all who visit. One can browse through rooms in this elegant display of wealth and artistry. I plan to visit many times!
