Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken just south of Darwin in the Northern Territory, Australia. We were on a river cruise on the Adelaide River where they were feeding the crocs, I was so excited to capture this photo.

Time

This photos was taken in the dry season of the Northern Territory which is their winter. It was a lunch time tour so around midday with perfect warm temperatures and not a cloud in the sky.

Lighting

There was no extra lightning effects for this photo just the beautiful natural light.

Equipment

I used my basic little Olympus tough camera, no extra lenses, tripods or flash was used.

Inspiration

I was so mesmerised by these incredible, powerful Creatures I just wanted to be able to share it with who ever I could.

Editing

There was no editing of this photo at all.

In my camera bag

I only have my Olympus tough camera which is always close by when I’m out and about, it’s a handy little camera for sure.

Feedback

My best advice is be patient when trying to capture a photo like this and don’t be afraid to takes lots of photos. Because there will nearly Always a great photo amongst The many.
