a person i had only met once before invited my to a event going to mt french we camped on the mountain. this was my first attempt at milky way photography. really had no idea what i was doing, thankfully the guys i was with were helpfulEditing

make sure you check the moon times (ie good time is new moon) no clouds. make sure you have something on the ground to give it interest ie they trees in background
