On a vast plain, surrounded by nothing but snow and ice, the rising sun created a stunning star burst as the light wrapped around the edge of the mountain. The intense light picked up small crystals of ice found through the sand, creating 'pin points' of light throughout the scene. The lone photographer in the shadows was looking at a very different scene to me.
