How would you approach shooting this landscape? When I walked up to this location, the first thing I did was to scout out all the different compositions. From there, I began to shoot each composition from various heights, low, medium, and high. I also shot in landscape as well as portrait mode. Then I moved to the next comp and followed the same procedure, tripod low, medium, and high shooting in portrait as well as landscape mode. I adjusted the settings manually based on the histogram. I ended up taking around 75 shots, none of which were identical to the other. That sometimes makes it difficult to select the keepers, but it does ensure that you have not missed any compositions.
