Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on the way home from a day spent at Miracle Beach. This photo is taken by Oyster Bay Shoreline in British Columbia, Canada.

Time

This photo was taken during the summer hours at around 9pm

Lighting

For lighting, i lowered down the exposure to create a silhouette of the rocky boulder by the shoreline.

Equipment

This was shot with my previous camera nikon d3100 with the nikkor 55-300 mm lens . No flash and no tripod just tried to hold steady by hand . No other equipment used to take this photo.

Inspiration

I have alway loved capturing sunsets and sunrise most specially the moon amazes me. No season can stop me from capturing its simplicity and it's beauty. OK except the clouds when it's overcast.

Editing

Mostly for post processing, I just enhanced the brightness a little bit and made the blacks darker . The rest is nature's beauty frozen in time.

In my camera bag

The first thing I have in my bag is nikkor 28-105 mm 1:3.5-4.5 D ; Nikkor 55-300 mm lens ; 18-200 mm lens ; external flash ; tripod ; reflector and my extra batteries.

Feedback

I would say to always have your camera handy ..because most of the time these little perks of nature happens when u least expect it .
