Behind The Lens

Location

The image was taken during a short holiday stay in hotel Velen (Germany near the Dutch borders). At the second day big announcements were hanged up " Welcome Bugatti". The next days there was a international event of old Bugatti cars in the hotel. During diner I spoke to the man next to my room, who was the leader of the "gang". We discussed motor technics.. I asked him what Bugatti was special. He mentioned the blue one, and invited me to be at the start of the tour next morning. Next morning I realized he was the owner of that blue Bugatti. Later I realised the man I spoke with was Peter Borstel. On the internet there is many info about this special car: the most expensive car of the world. The blue Bugatti is a remake of a very special car which disappeared after it was showed in France before WOII. Very exclusive!!!

Time

Morning just after we had breakfast about 10:00 am.

Lighting

Natural lightning.

Equipment

At that time a Canon 5D Mk1 with I think a 28-135 mm lens. No tripod.

Inspiration

Great car to see.

Editing

No just DPP (Canon)

In my camera bag

At this moment I use a Canon 6D Mk2 and Sigma 24-105mm ART, Canon 100-400 Mk1, Canon 1.4x convertor, Sigma 105 mm Macro, IRIX 15 mm, some pol filters and ND filters, macro-rings, Velbon D700 tripod, self made gimbal head and macro head, some selfmade pinhole and slit-hole"lenses" etc.

Feedback

Look before where oldtimer cars are showed.
