Location
I took this photo in my foyer in my home. It had been such a long day and we wanted one more shot so she jumped up on the bureau and I started shooting.Time
This was taken at 5pm after about 12 hour shoot day. The sun was going down so we had to act fast for good lighting.Lighting
It was around 5pm at night and the sun was starting to set. There is minimal lighting in the room where it was taken but the windows with the setting sun had let in the perfect amount lightEquipment
The camera I used was my Canon EOS Rebel t5 with a Canon 18-55 lens. I also used a sunpack tripod.Inspiration
What inspired me to take this photo was after a long day and the sun going down my sister had decided to just up on the bureau and told me shoot. So I did.Editing
The only post-processing I used was turning down the contrast a small amount. In my camera bag
I usually keep my Canon EOS Rebel t5 camera along with three lenses. A Canon 18-55 mm, Canon 75-300 and a Canon 50 mm. I also carry a sunpack tripod and monopod, an extra battery, plenty of SD cards and tb drive and Mac.Feedback
I would just say to not think to hard about it and to just go with what you think is best. But to just make sure the focus is on the mirror image and not the person themself because that’s what keeps this photo interesting.
