The DuSable Bridge is commonly known as the Michigan Avenue Bridge in Chicago, Illinois. The bridge was built and open to traffic in 1920. It provides traffic for pedestrians and vehicles on two levels. In 1928, four sculptures were added to the outward facing bridgehouses depicting events in Chicago history. The bridge has 28 flagpoles, usually flying flags of the United States, Illinois and Chicago.
